The railroad is more than a chapter in Palestine’s past—it helped shape the community we know today.

 

Formerly known as the Railroad Heritage Center, the Palestine Railroad Heritage Museum is operated by the Texas State Railroad Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

 

The museum exists to preserve and share railroad history, show why it still matters, and help visitors understand the people, work, and connections built along the rails.
